Meet Your Instructor

I'm Camilla Searle, better known as 'Millie', the Pilates instructor behind Cooma Pilates. I’ve called Cooma home for over 20 years and love sharing my passion for Pilates with the local community.

Based in the beautiful Snowy Mountains/Monaro region of NSW, Cooma is a small rural town roughly an hour and thirty minutes from Canberra. I feel very grateful to teach Pilates within such a supportive regional community and to help people move, feel, and live better through mindful movement.

I'm a Diploma trained Pilates instructor, with a Certificate III & IV in Fitness, and I’m registered with the Pilates Association Australia (PAA). I’m currently undertaking an Advanced Diploma in Pilates, an extensive and highly advanced qualification within the Pilates industry. This allows me to further expand my skills and knowledge to provide the best support possible to my clients.

My Pilates training includes both Matwork and Studio Pilates, which involves the use of specialised Pilates equipment. I’ve also been fortunate to learn from and be mentored by some of the most experienced Pilates instructors across Australia, which has helped shape the way I teach and support my clients.

At Cooma Pilates, the aim is simple - to help you move in a way that feels right for your body. Classes focus on controlled movement, posture, strength, and connection to breath, supporting overall wellbeing.

I’m passionate about creating supportive beginner-friendly Pilates classes where clients feel comfortable, encouraged, and connected. Whether you’re completely new to Pilates, returning to movement after time away, or looking to build strength and mobility, classes are designed to support a wide range of experience levels.

There’s also a strong community feel in the classes I run. Many clients are long-term regulars, and new faces are always welcome. My goal is to help people throughout the NSW Snowy Mountain/Monaro region feel stronger, move better, and build confidence in their bodies through Pilates.

Pilates is something I genuinely love, and I’m passionate about helping others experience the benefits of mindful movement. It’s about taking time to move, breathe, improve posture and strength, and feel better both physically and mentally.

I’d love to support you on your Pilates journey, wherever you’re starting from, and help you build a consistent movement practice that feels good for your body.
